Cradle Coast Authority, Council & Government Tasmania

What's been happening?

The latest information from the Cradle Coast Authority.

We've moved office

Our office is now located at 1 - 3 Spring St, Burnie.  Our postal address and telephone numbers remain the same.

We've signed a 10 year lease with Burnie City Council to occupy the western end of the heritage-listed Portside Building.

Stubbs Construction was contracted to complete a refurbishment of our leased space, including improving the office's energy efficiency.  The Authority received funding via the Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP) from the Australian Government to retrofit the heritage building with more efficient heating, cooling and lighting solutions.  The energy efficiency improvements have been designed to retain the building's heritage values while delivering a reduction in energy usage and related annual costs for the Authority.

All regional services hosted or provided by the Cradle Coast Authority have relocated to the new office including Cradle Coast NRM, Cradle Coast tourism, the Cradle Coast Healthy Communities Initiative and the support services provided to regional local government projects.

We look forward to seeing you in our new office space soon.
