Our Partnerships and Programs
The Authority 's member Councils contribute to its annual budget for core operations and administrative functions. It does not receive core funding from any other sources.
All regional projects and initiatives are funded under partnerships and agreements negotiated with external bodies. In some cases, these funds are provided as grants for individual projects. Increasingly, however, the Authority is entering into longer term partnerships with other levels of government to deliver broader programs of activities that are tailored to the region's needs.
The Authority welcomes the opportunity to help improve the economic, social and environmental performance of the region through the creation of partnerships and programs with both the public and private sectors.
