Partnership Arrangement: Cradle Coast Authority Partnership Agreement

Description
The Authority has agreed to work towards implementing Tourism 21 which is the joint strategic business plan between the State Government and the Tourism industry.
The Tourism 21 initiative, known as the Tourism Development Framework, provides the basis for achieving an integrated tourism strategy for the State and the region by embracing the concepts of clusters, hubs, touring routes and trails as well as the application of "Tasmanian" brand values.

Status
Both Tourism Tasmania and the Authority have agreed to focus on the development of selected touring routes and clusters prior to the development of a regional strategy.

The regional projects the Authority are currently undertaking which fall under this partnership schedule are:

The Authority and Tourism Tasmania are working with local tourism associations to develop regional tourism networks and tourism groups.

Partnerships between the other regions have been strengthened to reinforce tourism linkages.
