Cradle Coast Coastal Pathway
The Cradle Coast Authority secured funding from the State Government’s Trails and Bikeways Program at Sport and Recreation Tasmania to prepare a master plan for a recreational pathway. Once fully completed, the Cradle Coast Coastal Pathway will connect more than 85,000 residents between Wynyard and Latrobe.
The Cradle Coast Regional Futures Plan will provide the regional leadership to unlock opportunities for local and regional economic growth. The Plan will be a ‘roadmap for the region’ with stakeholders, such as the region’s nine local councils, government, business, education and community leaders, providing input.
Investing in entrepreneurship, innovation & future leaders
The Cradle Coast Authority is building on existing relationships and forging new partnerships to deliver innovative learning and development opportunities to the region’s existing and emerging business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Cradle Mountain Master Plan
From its creation in 2016, through to its delivery to the Office of the Coordinator General in 2018, the Cradle Mountain Master Plan is closer to realisation due to the CCA successfully lobbying on behalf of the Cradle Coast region for Government investment. The project will revitalise the visitor experience at the World Heritage-Listed and internationally renowned destination. The Plan is recognised as a significant investment for our future, both in the North-West region and the State of Tasmania.
