Destination Action Plans

During the 2016-2017 financial year, the Tasmanian Government funded eight Destination Action Plans (DAPs) to be completed at local destinations across the Cradle Coast region. DAPs were created through a facilitated workshop process.

This involved business and community representatives who considered and reached consensus on tourism development, marketing and management opportunities and challenges.

The groups then identified and agreed on key priorities and actions which would make a positive difference to the growth and sustainability of their respective local visitor economy’s and improve the visitor experience.
