With the upcoming local government elections in our region and the retirement of some of our CCA Directors, the Board will be taking on a different look into the future.
On behalf of the Board and the CCA team I would like to sincerely thank independent Directors Malcolm Wells (Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee) and Kathy Schaefer (Chair of the Regional Development Committee) for their professional and invaluable contributions to CCA over their years of service, and Mayoral Directors, Julie Arnold and Annette Rockliff for their greatly appreciated positive leadership, counsel and advice on the Board.
I would also like to thank Shane Crawford (General Manager Representative/ Audit & Committee Member) and Peter Voller (Chair of the CCA-NRM Committee) for their highly significant, ongoing contributions as CCA Board Directors.
We are currently in the process of selecting 3 – 4 future independent directors to the Board from a group of outstanding candidates and we look forward to working with them as well as the 2 Mayoral nominees selected by the Representatives Committee led by Mayor Peter Freshney and Deputy Chair Mary Duniam.
